1) On your mobile phone, download Microsoft Authenticator.

2) On your mobile phone, open the Microsoft Authenticator app.

3) On your mobile phone, Add a new account using one of the options below.

3a) select the option to Scan QR Code. 

3b) If you have a other account in the app already select Add account from the Customize and control icon in the upper-right, and then select Work or school account.

4) On your computer, Click on https://aka.ms/mfasetup and login using your account.

5) On your computer, select Mobile app in the drop down menu and select option to Receive notification for verification and click on Setup

6) Time to pair the App with your account using the QR-code.

6a) On your computer, you will see the following screen

6b) On your mobile phone, choose Scan QR Code and then OK to access the camera. choose Allow notifications when prompted. Use the camera to scan the QR code.

6c) On your computer, click on Next

7) On your computer, make sure you get the message that says your configuration was successful, and then select Next. The page will send a notification to your mobile phone as a test.

8) On your mobile phone, Check the notification received

9) On your mobile phone, Click on the Approve button.

10) You are ready to use MFA. Press Done
